Every time I sit in front of this piano, inspiration comes. I have used this soft piano sound source many times in a pinch in various projects or when the drummer's fingers cannot perfectly play the sound that the composer's brain wants. Since I first got it in 2020, I have recorded this piano on every soundtrack I have made. It is truly indispensable!

Background
The Boston Piano is a Steinway piano in every sense of the word: Steinway original design, Steinway patents, and Steinway parts. Why Boston Piano? Because it is manufactured in Kawaii factory in Japan, not in New York, USA. Kawaii and Steinway pianos have always been my favorite pianos (though I also have a small preference for Yamaha for pop and rock). So, it was a real surprise to me to stumble upon a hybrid piano of these two brands.
I had no idea that such a piano existed, but when I was looking for a grand piano for recording Moss: Book II at my local Steinway, I fell in love with this piano at first sight. I was captivated by the clear sparkle of the treble, the smooth midrange, and the impressive but not too boomy bass. In the YouTube OST link below, this sampled soft piano is used throughout the entire song, and to me, it stands up to the other live piano pieces on the album in no way.
