Sound of Legend
Harrison Audio's 32Classic Channel Strip Plug-in is a full-featured channel strip with everything you need to create music with the classic Harrison sound, including a 4-band parametric EQ, high-pass and low-pass filters, transformation with a "Drive" control, a compressor, and a gate/expander.

Emulating the Harrison 32Classic analog mixing console, the 32Classic Channel Strip Plug-in delivers the sound and workflow that generations of artists and engineers have relied on to create their sound. From Michael Jackson, John Coltrane, and Diana Ross at Westlake Studios to B.B. King, Steely Dan, and Fleetwood Mac in LA's Village, the 32Classic Channel Strip Plug-in delivers the sound and workflow that generations of artists and engineers have relied on to create their sound. ABBA, Led Zeppelin, Adam Ant at Stockholm's Polar Studios. Or Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, Al Green at Nashville's Sound Emporium. 32 Series consoles have helped create some of the most influential music ever made, and the 32Classic plug-in gives you access to the sound and workflow of the DAW that engineers like Bruce Swedien, Roger Nichols, and Reinhold Mack trusted to craft music that stands the test of time.

Considered the sonic benchmark in many high-end studios, Harrison studio consoles are known for their ultra-smooth, musical EQs, legendary filters, and intuitive "get the job done" workflow. Capturing Harrison's classic sound, the 32Classic plug-in is based on the console's Jensen transformer-coupled mic preamps and features a new "Drive" control for dialing in warm harmonic saturation. Additionally, 32 Classic boasts an EQ section with modern algorithms and full dynamics processing, offering three different compression modes and an "Emphasis" knob for accessing a more vintage character.

Features
  • 32 Classic EQ - A classic 4-band parametric EQ with proportional Q delivers versatile and musical results with nearly any instrument and sound. Switch between shelf and peak modes for the high and low frequencies, and use the overlapping mids to carve out classic sounds.
  • 32 Classic High-Pass/Low-Pass Filters - Experience the ultra-wide frequency range of these renowned filters. A high-pass from 25Hz to 3.15kHz and a low-pass from 160Hz to 20kHz allow for extensive filter control, from extreme to beautifully subtle. Use it in conjunction with 32 Classic EQ for unique results.
  • Saturation - Use the DRIVE knob to adjust the signal level fed to the Saturator (post-input trim), applying warm harmonic saturation based on the console's Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer-coupled mic pre. The Drive meter displays the level (dBFS) of the signal fed to the Saturator.
  • Compressor - The full-featured Compressor offers three types of compression and a sidechain filter with sweepable frequency and "listen" functionality, providing all the control you'd expect from a standalone unit. The "Emphasis" knob allows you to access a more vintage character by forcing the compressor to respond more quickly to louder sounds, resulting in smoother results.
  • Compression Types:
  • Compress - The most "traditional" and versatile compression style, offering full control over ratio, attack, and release. It can be used with virtually any source material.
  • Level – Subtle "leveling" compression, known for its smoothing capabilities, is commonly used on lead vocals, bass, and guitars, with a low ratio and small gain reduction range.
  • Extreme – Fast-acting, aggressive compression, originally designed to capture peaks before they're sent to sensitive broadcast transmitters or disc-cutting machines. Slam on drums, crush room mics, play parallel vocals and bass, and more.
  • Gate – A full-featured Gate/Expander can tame bleed on live tracks or add expressive, dynamic articulation to pre-recorded loops and sounds. The Gate reports gain reduction next to the fader. The mutual push/pull action of the reduction LEDs provides excellent feedback.
  • Routing – Rearrange the processing order of the Gate, Compressor, and EQ elements using the Routing section at the bottom of the GUI.
  • Output – An analog VU-style output meter displays the output level (dBFS) after the Output Level control.
  • Channel Configuration - Mono, Stereo, Multi-Channel up to 16 Wide
  • Workflow - 32 Classic plug-ins feature key utility tools like polarity flip and "listen" for each processing module, allowing you to quickly dial in your settings.
  • All Format Support - AAX, VST, VST3, AU

Until 20th January.
