Recommended Usage

MicDrop is a powerful next-generation plugin that uses artificial intelligence to enable complex real-time audio transformations within your DAW. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend the following:

Create and Commit: Instantiate MicDrop, create your desired sound, and then bounce it to the desired location to save the session. Repeat this process as needed (e.g., when creating a background vocal stack).

System Optimization: To prevent performance issues, minimize other active programs, including system-level assistants like Siri and other Apple Intelligence services, while using MicDrop. MicDrop maximizes the use of CPU, GPU, and neural processing hardware on both Mac and PC, so reducing background tasks ensures smoother operation.

Consider Resource Limitations: Due to its high processing load, most computers can only run one or two instances of MicDrop simultaneously. Keep this in mind when planning your workflow and system requirements.

Platform Compatibility: MicDrop supports Mac and standard PC architectures, but Windows ARM computers are not yet supported (more devices will be added in the future). If you are unsure whether your system meets the requirements, download the free demo to test compatibility.
