Prime 8+ is designed to be the first and last word on these classic drum machine sounds. Using a traditional analog hardware approach, it delivers not just the sound of the machine, but the sound of a world-class recording studio, with the authentic sound of a hit record. Starting with a complete hardware inspection and restoration, each sound in Prime 8+ was passed through a Class-A signal chain and captured with the highest resolution using the best converters.

After meticulous editing, the entire library was mastered by Chris Gehringer at Sterling Sound in New York City. Chris Gehringer is a modern legend of urban music and a true ear for this machine. The result is a clear, immediate punch, and a refined presence and clarity to the sound that is often missed in strict hardware emulations.
