Introducing DC-ZERO, a vintage synth from Native Instruments Kontakt, CFA-Sound. It takes inspiration from the iconic 80s synthesizer known for its DCO's captivating sound, its characteristic thick chorus, and of course its easy-to-use workflow. As the first part of this new synthesizer theme product line in the Kontakt "Fusion Series", as the name suggests, it fuses wavetables and multisamples, combining both paths of sound generation in a powerful synergy, allowing for more creative space and more sounds. User-facing design features and possibilities, as previous synthesizer sample libraries for Kontakt offered.

The synergy of Kontakt's powerful sampler engine and the new wavetable engine captures the warm analog sound of this famous icon. DC-ZERO also captures its paragon of pulse width modulation. It allows even more sonic freedom in the sound design process than "just multi-samples". It delivers a compact instrument with a focus on the ease of use of analog synthesizers. Designed with a similar layout as you'd expect from a modular system, the core synthesizer module is complemented by additional tools such as voice modes for monophonic and polyphonic voicing and predefined chords. Output control module with stereo width, limiter and FX rack routing.

The effects rack is packed with Kontakt's studio-grade sound processing tools, featuring a lo-fi drive module (a transistor drive and bit crusher in one box). It is followed by the Choral chorus and Phasis phaser effects. For more dynamic processing and more saturation, the Supercharger GT as a tube compressor gives you everything you need for more tweaking, along with the Solid-G equalizer. It's finished off with the excellent Replika delay and hybrid reverb modules. All effects have been kept with a reduced number of controls to focus your workflow on the essential core controls and not hinder your creativity with too many controls or unnecessary menu navigation. All controls are always in sight, ensuring a smooth and comfortable workflow at all times.

The included 175 presets are lovingly crafted with every detail, covering everything from basic sounds like classic analog synths to cinematic pad sounds that make the most of the effects rack, fitting into a variety of genres such as synth, wave, deep house and techno. In detail, the factory presets include 44 basses, 11 chords, 11 drums, 12 FX, 17 keys, 28 leads, 30 pads and 22 pluck sounds.
