To achieve this, the Ninja Tune / Erica Synths team collaborated with VCV code wizard Raphael Hoffman to create a powerful effects plugin offering immense creative potential and playability. ZDV is not merely a digital replica or replacement for the original hardware, but a complement to it. Like the "voodoo tube" ancestor housed in its metal box, ZDV amplifies the joy of performing, experimenting with, transforming, and mashing up sounds. Features
A new LFO page breathes life into surprising rhythmic animations; by controlling the filter and delay, it enables constantly evolving experiments through chorus effects, drones, and FM/AM modulation.
The preset manager helps you save your own effect settings. It comes with a selection of killer presets crafted by the developers' talented team of sound designers, including Mijk van Dijk, Nerk (TokTok), Dr. Walker (Air Liquide), and Indian electronic artist Kiss Nuka.
Options for triplet groove timing and dotted delay times—features frequently requested by Zen Delay hardware users—have been added, as Erica Synths decided it was time to "let Zen swing." Unlike the hardware version, you can also insert filters into the feedback loop and alter the routing between the delay and filter stages.
