SSL Fusion HF Compressor by Solid State Logic, the faithful emulation of high-frequency compressor on SSL Fusion, is now 74% off for $25.

The SSL Fusion HF Compressor plugin emulates the high-frequency smoothing circuit from the SSL Fusion stereo outboard hardware processor. This compressor affects only frequencies above the crossover, providing a unique, rounded high-frequency sound. The ratio, attack, and release are all optimized for maximum transparency, and the smooth compression and tape-like high-frequency roll-off suppress unwanted harshness that accumulates in mixes and individual stems.

In addition to the functionality of the original hardware, the SSL Fusion HF Compressor plugin introduces MIX and AUTO GAIN controls, allowing you to adjust the perfect amount of HF smoothing and apply automatic makeup gain to the compressed frequencies. Combined with the gain reduction graph, meters, and feedback from the original hardware's circuit activity LEDs, it's easy to quickly adjust harsh sounds. The SSL Fusion HF Compressor plugin introduces a new feature of the SSL plugin engine: built-in help, in addition to the ECO mode for tracking and recording. Simply click the question mark "?". Click the symbol in the lower right corner and hover your mouse over the GUI to display contextual guidance and information about the plugin and its controls.
