The Amp Room ENGL Savage Mark II Suite is meticulously handcrafted by Softube's expert engineers without the use of artificial intelligence, and component-modeled for authenticity. Authenticity: AI Can't Compete

Artificial intelligence can conjure up almost anything. Amp Sims are included. However, AI Amp Sims are primarily snapshots of an amp at a specific setting. While you can change the bass (Web-Copy-Amp-Room-ENGL-Savage-Mark-II-Suite.pdf), they don't necessarily correspond to the actual bass knobs on a real amp. Softube's Amp Sims are component-modeled according to the circuit diagram. Physical amps are measured by hand in the lab, and digital models are carefully tuned to replicate the exact behavior of the hardware in every setting. That's why their amp sims won't sound like every other amp sim on the market. They can't. Because these amp sims are packed with skill, knowledge, passion, and rock 'n' roll science. Just like the originals.

Amplifiers

In the ENGL Savage Mark II Suite, Softube chose to model not only the 120W version of this tube icon, but also its 60W sibling (the limited-edition white Tolex). The 120W amp's power amp section employs ENGL 6550 power amp tubes, while the 60W version employs ENGL EL34 power amp tubes.

ENGL Savage Mark II

The incredible dynamics and versatility of the ENGL Savage Mark II make it an amp head dream come true. The 3-band EQ on Channels 1 and 2 has been reworked by renowned ENGL amp designer Horst Langer to deliver customized tones, featuring Lean/Bold circuits offering two distinct midrange characteristics. The Gain Lo/Hi circuit allows you to transform the clean channel into crunch mode at the high setting, while the lead channel gain adds richness and weight. With four channels and solid sound-shaping capabilities, the Savage Mark II delivers thunderous tone for modern guitar sounds.

More is more! The ENGL XXL 4x12 cabinet delivers massive low end while maintaining the tight mid-range characteristics of ENGL cabs. No matter how hard you push this cab, it can take it!
