This special plugin bundle from IK Multimedia includes two powerful tools for mastering: T-RackS Lurssen Mastering EQ and Lurssen Mastering Console.

The Lurssen Mastering EQ faithfully reproduces the legendary 825 Tube EQ, highly regarded in the mastering industry for its warm, musical characteristics and unique tone. It is an established benchmark product for analog equalizers.

Originally developed specifically for mastering legends Gavin Larsen and Reuben Cohen, this plugin, born from their long-standing use of this sonic approach, delivers incredibly beautiful highs and lows with smooth, nuanced curves, enabling subtle yet powerful tonal enhancement. It can be used as a standalone plugin or within the T-RackS 6 plugin shell.

The precise emulation of the preamp section allows for precise adjustment of harmonic saturation with its unique "Color" control. This enables fine-tuning of the unit's characteristics, whether for a clearer sound or a harmonically richer sound.

Lursen Mastering EQ boasts a sophisticated interface integrating independent stereo controls and enhanced features. While recreating the original left/right EQ controls, this plugin adds new features such as output control, parameter linking, adjustable preamp input level, and mid/side processing. The shelving filter allows for intuitive manipulation of both highs and lows, and three pre-tuned semi-parametric filters enable precise sound shaping. The Lurssen Mastering Console is a completely new approach to digital audio mastering. It fully emulates the entire mastering chain used by world-renowned mastering engineers Gavin Larsen and Reuben Cohen, and their team. This chain includes tube equalizers, solid-state equalizers, limiters, de-essers, and solid-state compressors. The simulation of this chain reflects their "whole chain" philosophy.

The Lurssen Mastering Console models and reproduces the interactions between individual processors within the chain, down to the actual equipment connection diagram. This approach effectively leverages decades of knowledge, including workflow secrets, special techniques, signal chains, and technical know-how.

With the Lurssen Mastering Console, achieving amazing results is easy. It comes with 40 unique mastering templates called "Styles," allowing you to customize the mastering chain for various genres, including hip-hop, hard rock, heavy metal, country, and Americana. These templates eliminate all the tedious work involved in mastering. Gavin and his team have pre-configured everything, from the signal flow to the individual settings of each processor.
