 Flux Bittersweet Pro V3 is a multi-band dynamics processor that allows you to pinpoint dynamics in specific frequency bands.

BitterSweet Pro is built around a new and improved design of the algorithm found in Flux's acclaimed freeware transient processor, BitterSweet. One of BitterSweet Pro's key features is its ability to process only specific portions of the frequency spectrum, providing expanded control over transient processing and allowing it to function like a dynamic equalizer driven by transients and sustain.

The soft clipper at the final stage of the processing path carefully rounds the edges of clipped peaks for smoother clipping.

The sidechain detector, detected according to the frequency range setting and its low-cut, high-cut, and band-pass filters, and the filtered sidechain extraction can be audited with the click of a button.

External sidechain available only in AU (Mac OS X) and AAX Native & DSP (Mac OS X & Windows).

True bypass control routes the incoming signal directly to the output, allowing for a smooth transition between clean and processed signals.

The frequency range sets the actual frequency range processed (20 Hz / 20.0 kHz - lower limit / 40 Hz / 20000 kHz - upper limit). Frequency extraction can be audited with the click of a button.

Vary the speed, transient processing mode, and control envelope smoothing to generate a natural attack (fast / medium / slow).

Dynamic Gain adjusts transient and sustain gain (-100.00% – Sweet / 100.00% – Bitter).

Static Gain controls the actual gain of the frequency range filter envelope (-24.00 dB / +24.00 dB).

Geek Pane (Advanced Settings) with an additional range of parameters providing extended control of transient processing envelopes.
