After a long period of development, working with leading engineers, Devious Machines has crafted a compressor with a unique, modern sound. There are three compression modes: Smooth, Crunch and Punch, each with its own unique musical character. And while it certainly has the ability to emulate the iconic sound of the 1176 compressor, for example, its sound palette is expanded even further. There is also an Extended mode that can be used to boost transients or reduce noise.

The X6 introduces a streamlined workflow. Use the Macro controls to quickly tweak compression and tweak individual bands to your liking.
