Verberate 2 with the innovative Vivid Hall algorithm

When it comes to reverb, it's all about sound quality. Verberate is an algorithmic reverb plug-in that reproduces real acoustic environments with extreme realism. The original Verberate already raised the bar. Version 2 introduces the Vivid Hall algorithm, which adds time-based changes. It reproduces the reverberant reverberation of reverberation while avoiding the stiff feeling that is common in convolution-based reverbs, while retaining the natural, dense reverb tail of Verberate 1.

In a real acoustic environment, slight changes occur due to air flow, performer movement, audience movement, etc. These changes may seem small, but their impact is noticeable at the end of the reverb tail, as the sound is reflected many times before the reverb tail fades out. The new Vivid Hall algorithm models these random changes without any artifacts such as chorus effects or pitch changes, resulting in a more realistic reproduction of the reverberation of a real hall.

The Decay Editor allows you to adjust the reverb tail by setting the reverb time according to frequency. It also features a powerful output equalizer.

Another new feature is the ability to more accurately simulate mechanical plate reverbs. High frequencies travel faster than low frequencies in a metal plate, and this effect is called frequency dispersion. Verberate 2 now includes a Dispersion parameter, which, in combination with the Decay Editor, simulates the long decay of high frequencies typical of plate reverbs, resulting in a highly realistic plate reverb simulation. A new Swirl parameter allows you to simulate the feedback modulation effect found in many vintage digital reverbs.

The 15 early reflection patterns are algorithmic, calculated in real time and applied by convolution. The early reflections are followed by a dense, resonant-free late reverberation, which, combined with the flexibility of algorithmic reverbs, allows for highly realistic room simulation and impressive depth.

Verberate 2 comes with a large catalog of beautiful factory presets, and a clear and concise graphical user interface makes the search for specific reverb qualities easy.
