RootOne features three low-frequency bands with customizable crossover frequencies. Each band identifies the frequency one octave above the selected range, carefully analyzes its amplitude and phase, and then generates a clean sound within that band.

Conventional sub-harmonic generators often rely on band-passed, pitch-shifted signals, which can result in a sound that feels disconnected from the original source. To address this, Leapwing developed a proprietary pitch and phase tracking algorithm and combined it with a clean signal generator. A fourth saturation band allows you to create low-mid harmonics, giving you complete control over the tone and character of your low end. You can also control dynamics, decay, and drive for each low-frequency band.
