With Deesser, you can intuitively enhance vocal clarity and suppress sibilance with a simple interface. Deesser's low latency and low CPU load make it ideal for recording. Its easy-to-use frequency detection, relative thresholding, and transparent sound will make it indispensable in all situations, from vocal tracks to tackling harsh frequencies throughout your mix.

The Art of Deessing and Rock 'n' Roll Science

Softube has built an unshakeable reputation for developing equipment that improves workflows and delivers superior sound quality through decades of partnerships with brands such as Tube-Tech, Solid State Logic, Chandler Limited, Weiss Engineering, and Trident.

Deesser is built on a foundation of creativity, passion, and attention to detail. It's a deesser tool that the Softube team actually wants to use, offering the necessary power while achieving functional efficiency and workflow simplification, embodying the passion, soul, and rock 'n' roll science that permeates every Softube tool.

It's Easy to Brush Your Teeth

Softube has strived to make Deesser's layout as intuitive as possible, allowing you to quickly and easily deal with irritating sibilant sounds. To begin deessing, simply drag the Deess slider. The detector frequency range determines the range of frequencies Deesser detects as problematic. To set this range, drag the filter widget or enter your desired value. That's all there is to it.

Must-See

Deesser has everything you need and nothing you don't. This ensures a fast and easy workflow. The interface features key visualizations to guide you to the best sound selection. The top frequency analyzer displays the energy of the frequency spectrum, helping you set the detection range. The frequency analyzer also displays the gain reduction to which de-essing is applied.

The waveform display provides a more detailed view of the input audio and the amount of de-essing. A gain reduction meter, displaying gain reduction (GR) in dB, is located next to the waveform display.

Hint! Relative Threshold

Deesser uses a relative threshold, employing a level-independent automatic algorithm, making it extremely easy to set the amount of de-essing. Changing the input level in the processing chain before Deesser will not affect the de-essing response.

Until 14th June.
