Introducing SLIMVERB 2
SlimVerb 2 is a focused stereo reverb designed to deliver sound with depth, character, and movement—without slowing down your workflow. With 30 factory presets, a fully resizable interface, and powerful new tools housed in a clean, efficient design, you can craft everything from tight rooms and intimate vocal spaces to expansive halls and dynamic, atmospheric reverbs.
Adjustable Reverb Size
SlimVerb 2 offers precise control over the scale and sustain of the reverb, ranging from compact ambience to vast spaces. By combining the Size and Reverb Feed controls, you can seamlessly switch between short, controlled reflections and long, immersive reverb tails.
Pre-Delay
Achieve separation between your source and the reverb using the dedicated Pre-Delay control. Push the reverb slightly behind vocals, drums, or instruments while keeping the dry signal clear and distinct at the front of the mix.
Let the Tail Bloom
The Bloom feature generates an additional delayed reverb field behind the main reverb sound. This creates a wider, denser, and more three-dimensional sense of space, achieving natural expansion without the pitfalls of traditional ducking effects.
Breathe Life into the Tail
Motion introduces slow, uncorrelated movement into the reverb tail. It adds vitality and subtle variation to sustained sounds, pads, vocals, and ambient effects, all while maintaining a smooth, musical feel.
Tone Shaping and Drive
Freely adjust the reverb's characteristics without complicating your workflow. Control the reverb's onset and brightness with Damp and HP FLT, balance the tone with Low and High controls, and add density, warmth, and harmonic texture with Drive. Shaping the Stereo Field
Use the X/M/S controls to switch between cross-stereo, mono, and stereo modes. This allows you to precisely position the reverb, ranging from a center-focused image to a wider, more immersive spatial field.
Enhanced Reverb Engine
SlimVerb 2 offers a choice between two engine modes: Original and Enhanced. The Original mode delivers the classic SlimVerb sound, while the Enhanced mode utilizes refined, high-quality delay interpolation to achieve smoother modulation and a more fluid reverb tail.
