Elevate the horizons of cinema.
Introducing auras:altis—a vast, beautiful, hybrid dimension created by modern hardware synthesizers.
This latest release from the "auras" project is sampled from custom presets created with the Novation Summit synthesizer and designed in collaboration with Venus Theory and Jason Graves. Altis delivers a palette of rich, uplifting textures that enhance immersion and add depth and subtle texture to your music. This instrument is comprised of 25 multi-sampled instruments, each designed to evoke the vast, ever-evolving worlds of modern cinema.
At the heart of Altis is a dual-layer architecture, allowing you to blend any two of 25 sound sources to create new soundscapes, evolving pads, and complex harmonic movements. With the latest version of Decent Sampler, you can now experiment with different sound sources using the "Source Select" knob, and instantly design new patches. The library comes with 20 carefully curated presets (plus an "init" preset for your own ideas) to help you begin exploring modern cinematic synths that will add a touch of hardware flavor to your scores and projects.
As always, it's powered by the signature "auras" engine, offering control over expression, dynamics, filtering, and flexible effects like reverb and delay. You can freely control the intensity of your compositions, from subtle ambient sounds to majestic, resonant backdrops or distorted reverb slabs. The choice is yours.
Like its siblings in the "auras" project, this library is completely free to use. Everyone deserves the right to make music, and it's optimized to deliver epic cinematic sound in a small format.
Compatible with the free Decent Sampler.
